The village of Makrinitsa located in the central area of Pelion is one of the graphical villages of this mountain and hosts Arhontika Saltis. Makrinitsa is a historic and traditional village situated about 15 km north of the town of Volos and 12 km away from the ski center of Pelion. It is also one of the tourist villages of Pelion. The hotel consists of 18 rooms. All rooms have traditional decoration and a view to the Mount Pelion & the sea (Pagasitikos). The rooms have also fireplace, Wi-Fi Internet access, TV, heating, bathroom with Jacuzzi or water jet shower, hair dryer and bath amenities. Arhontika Saltis is a traditional hotel of high aesthetics and unique view. The hotel consists of Arhontiko Saltis I which was built in 1840 and renovated in 2005 and Arhontiko Saltis II, built in 1860 and renovated in the year 2007.
