Book one of the 3 star Argo Suites for a peaceful vacation in the Northeast Aegean Islands. These stylish Chios apartments provide comfortable accommodations in the village of Giosonas, close to the famous beaches of Nagos. Argo Suites is a small complex of 4 split-level holiday apartments in a landscaped garden. The property is fully air-conditioned and open year-round. Private parking and wireless internet access are included in the room rates. For a nominal fee, a continental breakfast can be delivered to your apartment in the morning. On the northeastern corner of the island of Chios (sometimes spelled Hios), the village of Giosonas is set amid pine forests and adjacent to a scenic pebbled beach. From Argos Suites, it’s approx. a 5 minute drive to the clear, calm waters of Nagos Beach. From there it’s another 5 minute drive to Kardamyla, one of the larger villages on the north end of the island and a traditional home of Greek ship-owners. Among the more significant Chios attractions are the 11th-century Nea Moni monastery with fine Byzantine mosaics, the Korai Library in the main town of Chios, the Chios Byzantine Museum, and the Archaeological Museum of Chios.
