This beautiful 200 year old building, which was formally an old coaching house, is located in the picturesque setting of Rhu near Helensburgh. The hotel sits on the east of Gareloch, from which you have breath taking views of the loch itself. The area is renowned for being a place of natural outstanding beauty, but also its connections with The Royal Navy Base Faslane which is 2 miles away. The Royal Navy has had a connection with Faslane and the Gareloch since the First World War. Indeed, the steam-driven submarine K-13 was lost off Rhu in January 1917. Helensburgh main station is just 2 miles away. The hotel has had a full investment in 2011, and all of its 25 bedrooms are en-suite have flat-screen TV, Free WIFI, work desk, tea and coffee making facilities, and hairdryer . The hotel restaurant serves full English breakfasts and great value meals throughout the day, and in the evening. The hotel also has a function room, which can accommodate meetings, and special occasions, and formal dinners.
