Arancio Bed & Breakfast is situated near the sea at the foot of the historic centre of Rodi Garganico amidst its picturesque Medieval streets. Directly across from the wharf where boats take visitors to the nearby Tremiti Islands, it is just 30 metres from the free beach and 300 metres from the fully equipped private beach. The Arancio, which was originally an old citrus storehouse, owes its name (Arancio means "orange tree") to the fruit tree that symbolises Rodi Garganico, which is dotted with fragrant orchards of oranges and lemons that last well past the end of summer. Arancio Bed & Breakfast organises excursions to many small towns in the Gargano that are rich in art and history; wondrous sea grottoes on the Gargano coast; the karst caves of Castellana; the Foresta Umbra, a lush green forest; the nearby Tremiti Islands with their many natural beauties; and the religious sites of Monte Sant’Angelo (Saint Michael Shrine); and San Giovanni Rotondo (Padre Pio Shrine).
