Shuttle service can be arranged between the apartments and either the Zadar Airport or the Zadar train station (Kolodvor Zadar). Apartmani Lozic is located at the north end of Zadar, a 5 minute drive from the popular beach and marina complex called Borik. A half-mile south of the Borik beach is a family beach called Vitrenjak, near the Uskok Sailing Club. The apartments are approx. 6 km/3.7 miles from Zadar’s historic centre, called the Narodni trg, or People’s Square. Among the popular attractions nearby are the University of Zadar (Sveuciliste u Zadru), founded in 1396; the 9th-century Church of Saint Donat (Crkva Sv. Donata), possibly one of the best preserved pre-Romanesque buildings in the world; the Cathedral of St. Anastasia; the city’s Archaeological Museum (Arheoloski Muzej); and the remains of a Roman forum dedicated during the reign of the Emperor Augustus.
