The Old Castle Tabiano Castle dates back to the 11th century and has been at the centre of many historic events and presides over the rich salt wells and olive groves as well as the old pilgrim road to Rome Via Francigena. Today, the medieval fortress has been transformed into a Relais de Charme offering exclusive living, relaxation and romance where you can forget the hustle and bustle of city life, making your visit here a true get away. We have 40 rooms, suites and apartments to choose from, divided between the old guard tower and the original main residence, each offering magnificent views of the countryside and the wide plains of the River Po. Each residence is individually and tastefully furnished, with great attention paid to every detail. Within the medieval walls and surrounded by olive trees, you can enjoy a 2 swimming pools, Jacuzzi and solarium, with spectacular views of the countryside. Inside the relaxing area, which is a natural cave, you can enjoy the sauna and Turkish bath and avail of a range of massage and treatments including Shiatsu, Antistress, Reflexology, Anticellulite, Craniosacral and regenerating hand, foot and face treatments. Tabiano Castello is right in the heart of an area which is rich in historical and cultural treasures. A visit to the many wonderful medieval castles of Parma is a must, they are among the oldest in Italy. The walled towns, ancient churches and abbeys, there is so much to see.
