Ferrara is situated in the Northeast side of Italy; it?s very quite with nice climate during spring and summer, lot of green that is nice for children, art exhibitions, music and concerts if you are interested to and other remarkable international events, possibility to make sport (especially golf and tennis) and excellent food and wine if you want to try local cuisine. Ferrara could be your base to travel around Italy with daily holidays: in fact it?s close to the top tourist cities like Venice and Verona (90 minutes), Florence (120 min.), Rome (200 minutes), Milan (100), Rimini (120). You could decide to rent a car driving throw these cities and visiting them during the day returning home during the evening. If you don?t want to rent a car or you don?t like driving it?s not a problem?. another possibility could be moving around using trains: Ferrara is efficiently connected with all these cities and it?s very easy and cheap too!
