Located in within the walls of Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the property gives easy access to the town of Galle. The Great Hall, with indoor seating as well as seating on the veranda, serves light meals and snacks in the morning, as well as afternoon tea. The Dining Hall serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with an emphasis on local and home cooked meals. Located within the walls of Galle Fort, the property is an amalgamation of many different buildings first brought together as Dutch military offices and later connected to create the New Oriental Hotel. After closing its doors, the property was taken over and completely redone to create what it is today.
