Celle with about 74.000 inhabitants is one of the finest towns with timber-framed houses in Germany and you can discover numerous remarkable buildings, streets and squares, as well as art, culture and trade. Celle is also famous for the stallion parade of the Stud Farm of Lower Saxony taking place annually at the end of Septemberbeginnig of October. Lots of great horses have come from there. The historical heart of the old town with different pedestrian precincts has more than 480 restored timber-framed houses built in the 16th and 18th centuries.
