Andria is perfect as starting point for excursions around Apulia. From Andria you can easily reach Alberobello (Trulli) e Matera (Sassi) as well as Trani, Barletta, Bari, Altamura, Ostuni and much more. Albergo dei Pini, opened in 1961, is an example of modern architecture created with ingeniousness and innovation. Despite of the recent refurbishment of the whole structure, the hotel keeps its own characteristics. It’s located in the heart of the town, just few minutes walk from the biggest park of the town and the main shopping streets. In few minutes you can reach the historical centre full of historical buildings and churches in Apulian Romanic style. A drop of olive oil exalts the taste of some of the most famous delicatessens of Andria, mostly dairy products such as burrata, scamorza, ricotta and mozzarella.
