The Alantha Apartments is a small and friendly run complex situated in a quiet street just five minutes from the town centre and a three-minute walk to a sandy beach. Offering clean, comfortable and relaxing surroundings, this is a terrific complex for couples and families with 34 fully air-conditioned first class self-catering apartments and large studio rooms, each furnished and decorated to a very high standard. Guests to the Alantha Apartments can discover marvellous beaches and sleepy villages along with a wide array of shops, restaurants, traditional tavernas and attractions in nearby Agios Nikolaos town. Heraklion International Airport is a 65 km from the hotel. Local Tips: Local attractions include the Palace of Knossos, Elounda and the island of Spinalonga, Lasithi Plateau, Chrissi Island and Vai, famous for its palm forest located right on the beach. Getting to the hotel: Airport to hotel transfers can be booked at Transfers4u.com. Please note that coach/shuttle transfers cannot take customers directly to the hotel due to its location in a narrow street up a steep hill. Clients get dropped off 300 metres away from the hotel and must make their own way up the steps. Private transfers are door to door. FACILITIES: Food, drink and entertainment: Self catering apartments with an option for bed and breakfast. The hotel has a pool bar offering an extensive food and drinks menu open from 9am to 7pm.
