A'la House provides comfortable Istanbul holiday apartments with a fantastic location within walking distance of the most famous historic sights, such as the Hagia Sophia, the Topkapı Palace, and the Sultanahmet Mosque, sometimes called the Blue Mosque. A'la House is a small property run by a local Turkish family that welcomes guests as if they were part of that family. It has 8 studio accommodations that have been recently renovated in a tasteful contemporary style. These apartments are located in the Kadirga neighbourhood, near the exquisite Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Mosque (Sokollu Mehmed Pasa Camii in Turkish). It is approx. a 10 minute walk from world-renowned historic structures of Sultanahmet Square (sometimes spelled Sultan Ahmet Square, or in Turkish Sultanahmet Meydanı): the monuments of the Hippodrome of Constantinople, the Hagia Sophia basilica, the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (Sultanahmet Camii) or Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, and to the east Topkapı Palace. The Museum of Archeology and the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art are both worth visiting. A'la House is within walking distance of a tram station on Cemberlitas Square that provides transportation to the rest of the city.
