The Al Castello is situated practically in the center of Verona, and is just a short walk away from the arena (a well-preserved Roman amphitheater where opera is still performed), Juliet's (of Romeo and Juliet fame) house and a statue of her, and the Basilica dei Santi Apostoli, as well as ancient churches and buildings. Drivers arrive in Verona via the A4 motorway. The two closest airports are the Guglielmo Marconi Airport in Bologna, 105 km away, or the Marco Polo International Airport in Venice, also some 105 km distant, where visitors can rent a car to continue their journey to the city. There is daily train service from Verona to all of northern Italy. Bus service is adequate around the Al Castello. Each guestroom in the Al Castello is air-conditioned, and has television. Each room also has an en-suite bathroom. Some rooms are non-smoking. Pets are allowed. Set on the first floor of an Art Nouveau building, the Al Castello has recently been renovated. The reception desk is open round the clock. Check in time is 2 pm, check out is at 10 am. They require 72 hours notice for cancellations.
