The Agroturismo Alfatx has renovated all its five rooms and decorated each one individually so that guests can enjoy all modern conveniences, while still conserving the local customs and the traditional Mallorcan rural lifestyle of the area. Agroturismo Alfatx is located near the Sierra Tramontana mountain range which is only 11 kilometres from Palma and 7 kilometers from the famous village of Valldemossa. Formally an old Mallorcan farmer's house, with 80,000 Square metres of land cultivated with almond and orange trees, the Agroturismo Alfatx is designed to give clients maximum comfort within a rural environment. Agroturismo Alfatx offers an alternative product within the Mallorcan countryside, yet only 20 kilometers from the airport and 2.5 kilometers from the Golf Club Son Termens. The privileged position of the farm allows guests easy access to markets, architecture, culture and gastronomy at nearby villages such as Santa Maria, Esporles, Bunyola, Soller and Bunyalbufar. The Red Junior Suite is on the first floor with a completely separate entrance, the suite consists of a double bed, lounge area and complete bathroom. By adding one or two extra beds the suite can be converted into a family room for up to four persons. Completely equipped with air-conditioning / heating, TV, safe, telephone and hairdryer. The Green Suite is on the first floor with its own entrance, this junior suite consists of a small lounge, two twin bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. The Blue Room is situated on the ground floor with entrance via the terrace; this room has two twin beds and a sofa bed to accommodate up to three persons and a full bathroom. Completely equipped with air-conditioning / heating, TV, safe, telephone and hairdryer. The Peach Room is a first floor twin bedded room with complete bathroom and its own private entrance. It has a charming terrace overlooking the open countryside ideal for breakfast in the morning. Completely equipped with air-conditioning / heating, TV, safe, telephone and hairdryer. The Yellow Room is a twin room which is slightly smaller on the first floor with access via a large private terrace looking to the village of S'Esgleieta. It has a full bathroom. Completely equipped with air-conditioning / heating, TV, safe, telephone and hairdryer. The privileged situation of the hotel allows its guests ample opportunities to choose a variety of activities such as golf (the Golf Son Termens is 2,5 kilometers away), sailing (the Palma Nautico Club and the Port of Portals offer a variety of water sports including windsurf, sailing lessons and water scooters both for adults and children). The hotel also has horse riding facilities for all ages and levels. There are 12 horses and ponies available for the guests. In addition, the Sierra of the Tramontana mountain range is an authentic paradise for hikers and walkers for both novices and the more experienced with an ample range of special routes.
