Situated in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley,at the foot of the Middagkrans Mountain,Agincourt Guest House is an idyllic country retreat. This large,gracious,Cape Vernacular style farmhouse,has eight very spacious,tastefully furnished ensuite bedrooms. Some of the bedrooms can inter-connect making them ideal for a family stay. The centre of Franschhoek with it's world famous restaurants,wineries,and shops is a gentle stroll,or a two minute drive down a tree-lined country lane. Rolling farmland,vineyards,valleys,and farmland surrounding the house make for a stunning backdrop. In the 1 12 acres of grounds,dotted with shady trees,geese and ducks swim on the dam. Whilst the resident dogs and cats take a snooze in the sun. Agincourt is the perfect place to relax,lounge by the 10mtr x 4mtr pool with a glass of wine and watch the sun set against the mountains. We will be delighted to help you plan your stay with us,from restaurant bookings to wine tours. All the guest bedrooms are very spacious,a minimum of 35 sq mtrs,and all have ceiling fans heating,and all the bathrooms have heated towel rails.
