The Transcontinental Hotel is a traditional superior 2-star hotel located in the Montparnasse business district (14th Arrondissement). This hotel is suited for less discerning travellers on a budget. Near the Gare Montparnasse, the metro and the terminal bus station, you will enjoy a peaceful stay while in Paris. Situated near Pernety, a surprising quarter found just behind Montparnasse and known for its modern restaurants, is a real village. Set within walking distance to the towering Tour Montparnasse, which offers beautiful views over Paris, by the famous Galeries Lafayette department stores, as well as the Gare de Montparnasse train and metro station (4 lines), offering direct access to numerous landmarks around the capital. The hotel is housed in a traditional 7-storey building. There are no dining facilities at the hotel but there are numerous restaurants, bars and cafes nearby.
