Nestled on the forecourt of the Abbey of St. Riquier, the hotel is situated in a magnificent house in white chalk. It was built in 1473 by Peter Kirton, Abbot of St. Riquier. Named Jean de Bruges in tribute to the governor and lieutenant-general of the King of Picardy, buried in the abbey in 1512. the hotel opened the doors in 1996 and gave each of these rooms and suites the name of the abbots of Saint Riquier.
