Brisbane's Woodduck Backpackers is a small, quiet & friendly hostel located just 600m from the Brisbane transit centre & Greyhound drop off. This is the newest hostel in the Woodduck chain, so expect refurbished rooms and new mattresses!!! The hostel has everything on offer you need from shared & female only dorms, to private rooms with en-suite. There is a large TV with FOXTEL in our common room and a great outdoor terrace overlooking the Brisbane River and City. For those looking for a prefect base to explore Brisbane & the surrounding areas at a very reasonable price, this is the hostel for you. Brisbane is not only the first place where you can actually hold a koala if you are heading north from Sydney, but it is also the perfect place to explore the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Noosa, Mt Tambourine, Moreton Island, Fraser, Whitsundays and of course Queensland's premier tourist attraction, Australia Zoo!!!
