Tsuetate Kanko Hotel Hizenya is located in Tsuetate Onsen on the border of Kumamoto and oita prefecture, in Kyushu, where you could see kingfishers fly on the Tsuetate River in front of the hotel and stars from open air bath at night. Hizenya has various kinds of rooms and there are 11 sources of hot springs. Oita and Kumamoto's famous souveniers and gifts like vegetable pickles, Japanese sake(wine), Japanese sweets, original mashrooms made by Hizenya. Restaurant Tamanoki for buffet style breakfast or regualr lunch and dinner. A banquet room is available for wide range of use like wedding party, convention with both Japanese style or western style. There are 156 guest rooms in total. Three buildings, one is Oita-kan and one is Kumamoto-kan and the other is Sukiyamaru. All guest rooms have nice view over the windows. At Kumamoto-kan, mainly Japanese and western combination style guest room or Japanese style guest rooms with Japanese tatami mat. At Oita-kan, all guest rooms are Japanese style rooms. Suite rooms are also available at Sukiyamaru bldg.. Rooms are equipped with towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, Japanese nightware for both adult and child, shampoo, rinse, bodysoap, tea kettle, hair dryer, TV, refrigerator. Hizenya is the largest building in Tsuetate onsen area and you can easily find it. 40 min ride by taxi from Hita station on JR Kyudai-honsen line. Hita local bus is also available from Hita station and the bus stop is Hizenya-mae. 40 min ride by car from Oita highway Hita I.C. 120 min ride by express highway bus from Fukuoka Airport Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
