Hotel Ichibokaku is situated in Kumanoyu, Shiga-kogen, in Joshinetsu-kogen. This area is surrounded by mountains 2000m high. During the summer, our guests enjoy hiking, trekking and firefly watching with the refreshing breeze of the plateau. In the winter, Shiga-kogen is a popular get-away area, futuring large 21 ski slopes. Ski season is from the end of November through mid-May. Our hotel offers Japanese style guest rooms completed with Tatami (straw mat) floors, as well as a natural sulfuric hot spring bath.
