There is a bird walk at 7.00am and a river walk at 10.00am which should not be missed. Within the 30 acres of the hotel there is a swimming pool, squash and tennis courts and a snooker room. Guests are welcome to use the 18 hole Nyeri Golf Course next to the hotel. 2 purpose built conference rooms make this an ideal venue for an out of town meeting. This is a very special country hotel. This is an all inclusive hotel and the rates given are on an all inclusive basis. (AHJ 07/04) Breakfast and lunch are taken on a wide veranda with views of the mountain. In the evening dinner is served in a baronial style dining room with parquet floors, chippendale furniture and crisp white linen. The furnishings and fabrics in the public rooms are particularly tasteful. After lunch one can watch traditional Kikuyu dance and song, in the Kikuyu Village in the grounds of the hotel. The remaining rooms are older in style, reminiscent of the 1920s with colonial sized bathrooms and garden access. This is a superior hotel, situated between Nyeri and the Aberdare National Park. It is a gracious, solid and comfortable hotel, set in a well tended tropical garden with rolling lawns. Countryside 2 kms to city centre 5 kms to the nearest airport (albina)
