The Lochboisdale Hotel is situated at the ferry terminal in South Uist overlooking the harbour, and has amazing views across the Minch to Canna and Rhum. Historically it was a sporting hotel which is evident once you step inside the building. Island hospitality abounds and the staff at Lochboisdale are no exception. We aim to make you feel at home and comfortable, so that you may relax and enjoy your holiday. Enjoy the warmth of the Lounge sitting by a real fire and soaking up the Gaelic atmosphere. Music sessions are spontaneous most nights but there is a regular session every fortnight where local people come together and play and catch up with their favourite tunes.
