The Lions Head Lodge guest house is located just outside the town of White River, in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. The guest house gets its name from Mt. Legogote, also called “The Lion’s Head”, which can be seen from the hotel. Guests of the Lions Head Lodge will find plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, both on and near the property. After a long day of travel, restore yourself in the Jacuzzi, then take a stroll through the property and admire the beautiful surrounding landscape. If you remain quiet, you’re certain to spot a colorful bird, the likes of which you’ve never seen, perched in a tree. The next day, take a longer hike, or perhaps see more of the area on horseback. If you’re looking to play golf, the guest house is near several golf courses. If you’re looking to see animals, you can spot elephants, lions, leopards, and more at Kruger National Park, which is just east of the guest house. The staff is available to assist with booking park tours.
