Bed and Breakfast in beautiful medieval village of Magalas in the Languedoc region of southern france. Our accommodation consists of four rooms - three with double beds and one single room All rooms have private shower, toilet etc and tv in each room. Tea and Coffee making facilities. Sorry, NO PETS ALLOWED.Our location is just 25 minutes drive from Beziers airport which has regular flights from London Luton and Bristol. There is a free shuttle service between Beziers airport and the railway station which also has a connection to Magalas. There is also taxi and bus services to Magalas. Carcassonne airport is just over one hour away and Perpignan just over one and a half hours away and these both have regular flights from London. There are several very good restaurants in Magalas. Other facilities include a hairdresser, pharmacy, mini-supermarket, post office, florist, bakery, butcher and newsagent. Just 2 km outside the village are two large supermarkets. Beautiful beaches are situated just 25 minutes away with many wonderful fish restaurants along the promenade serving fresh fish daily. The nearby village of Cessenon is on the river Orb and here you will find all facilities for canoeing and kayaking. There are also lots of picknicking and barbecuing facilities set out alongside the river. Also of interest to many are the various wine tasting excursions in all the villages nearby and also historic places of interest to visit, i.e. numerous roman settlements with beautifully preserved mosaics. There are also many caves to visit with very interesting stalactites and stalagmites. Appromimately 30 minutes away are the resorts of Sete and Agde whch have numerous funfair activities and a multitude of restaurants. Hill walking and cycling is also very popular as we are surrounded by hills of varying heights to suit all climbers.
