Welcome to the Atholl Court Guest house in Shanklin Isle of Wight - the closest accommodation to the Shanklin Train Station. Newly refurbished throughout and under new ownership you will find everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable stay with freshly cooked or continental breakfast. Please note that we operate a no children policy. Atholl Court is almost on the corner of Atherley Road which leads to the beach and Regent Street which leads to the High Street and then onto the picturesque 'Old Village' which is about a 10 minute walk away. We are situated less than 100yds from Shanklin Train Station and with the Shanklin Road Train and Island Buses stopping outside getting around the island is easy. For drivers we have a small private car park. All rooms are en-suite freshly decorated and are equipped with: Flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD iPod dock alarms clocks hospitality tray with tea / coffee / water and fresh milk. Shanklin is located at the south east corner of the Island between Sandown and Ventnor. Shanklin is the last stop for the Island Line train service which connects to Ryde Pier Head Ferry Terminal linking to Portsmouth and onwards into London and the rest of the Mainland. Shanklin has been a favorite for traditional seaside holidays for many years and has an award winning beach with clean clear water. Complimenting the beach we have the Esplanade with it's Crazy Golf Mini Golf amusements and ample car parking. For a better view you can take the cliff side lift which provides easy access to the cliff tops where the views are even more spectacular.
