Aesthetically, the resort sits in harmony with it*s environment. The buildings have low rooflines that converge with the landscape, embracing lakes, ponds and an oceanfront setting that includes low rocky headlands and a sweeping white sand beach. Entry tot he hotel is through a large reception pavillion that opens onto a grand formal reflecting pond that is landscaped with mature trees. All 40 timber shingled pavillions are identical in layout and design and fall into three categories based on their location and views. The pavilions are of contemporary design wit a dramatic overhanging roofline that creates shaded outdoor areas on the three terraces. Large glass doors can be opened on three sides to catch the cooling sea breezes. Located on the Northwest point on the island of Providenciales or Provo as it is locally referred to, Amanyara(peaceful place) is nestled on the tip of a 2025 hectre nature and wildlife reserve, with the widely-acclaimed reefs of the Northwest Point Marine Park offshore. The resort's isolated position is pristine and its beauty and tranquility is well removed from much of the development of the island. Transfer to the resort is along a narrow coastal road that rises to a hill and then falls away into a flat plain covered with native bush and stunted trees.
