A park of 865 acres of ancient olive trees gently surround Tenuta Monacelli & Masseria Giampaolo, a precious fortified Manor Farm from the 16th century near Lecce. The amenities and comfort are quite higher than the standard level: swimming pool, gym, massage center, relaxing treatments with natural products made in the Tenuta, cycle routes within the park. Solemnly elegant, the estate's guest rooms reflect the noble style, elegant but also historic. All with an en-suite bathroom with shower or bathtub, hairdryier and courtesy beaty kit, the rooms overlook the atrium of the manor farms, while the suites are located inside the towers. LCD TV, telephone, minibar, safe, and ari conditioning in every room make for a perfectly comforable stay. Some superior rooms have a raised sleeping area. Suites offers a balcony or a luxurious sunken bath. Some are on the first floor, with no lift. The foyer, the bar and the tv room are the open areas where guests can entartain themselves and collect tourist information; the front desk is available to reserve newspapers, transfer, guided tours and excursions, or coordinate laundry service. Don´t miss a lunch or dinner at the restaurant “Il Rifugio del Re”, where you can try a vast choice of typical local dishes and wines. Free bikes are also available for short excursions among the estate area and the white fine-sand beaches, just 1 kilometer (0.62 miles) away.
