The Ranbanka Palace is located near many of the historic sites that draw visitors to the city. From the hotel itself, there is a clear view of Mehrangarh Fort, one of the city's most imposing historical sites. Also visible from the hotel is the Umaid Bhawan Palace. The Jodhpur airport is located not far from the Ranbanka Palace. The rooms at the Ranbanka Palace are designed in the same historical fashion as is the rest of the establishment. They do contain modern amenities such as direct-dial telephone service, satellite television service and room service. The Ranbanka Palace traces its roots back to the Maharajas and is a building of historical significance in and of itself. The interior is lined with paintings and relics of the city's royalty and, though there are modern facilities such as a restaurant and a fitness center available, great care is taken to preserve the historical nature of the establishment. There are banqueting facilities available at this hotel and other amenities including a bar and a massage center.
