This hotel was oppened under the name of Plaza Las Glorias the year of 1993, on 2003 it becames an independent hotel, convinced to became the the best hotel on Sonora, impoving it's facilities constantly. It is a comfortable 7 story-building located in San Carlos. The hotel has excellent facilities and kind, friendly service typical of the people from Sonora. The name of the property makes reference to its location, close to the sea. And from the hotel the guests will have a wonderful view of both the ocean and Tetakawi Hill, which is considered the symbol of the city and is one of the main tourist attractions in the area. The hotel is located in the heart of San Carlos, adjacent to Mexico's largest natural marina and in Tetakawi hill. Both the marina and Tetakawi hill offer majestic views and stunning sunsets. The hotel is 15 min from Guaymas Airport and a short 20 min drive from Guaymas. San Carlos is 1 h from Hermosillo, Sonora's capital. Due the hotel's location, at the sea of cortes, San Carlos has becomes the perfect spot to practice water and adeventure sports suchsport fishing, scuba diving (excursions and certifications), snorke and kayak (to the stuary or coves). At the Sonoran desert guests will be able to do other activities as excursions through the Nacapule Canyon.
