Located in the heart of the old part of Annecy, this charming hotel dates back to the 16th century and offers comfortable and affordable accommodation, close to places of interest. Kyriad Annecy Centre is close to the river that runs through the city. This river leads to Lake Annecy, the second largest lake in France. The lake is known as Europe's cleanest lake because of the strict environmental regulations that were introduced in the 1960's. Today the lake is a popular tourist destination that is known for its water sports and swimming. Annecy is a pleasant city and is home to a number of old places and monuments. The most famous of these is the Palais de l'Isle, a former prison that is the most distinctive monument in the city. One of the most photographed monuments in France, it today houses a very popular local museum. By Car (from Lyon/Geneva): - Take the A41 and exit at Annecy-South. Directions from Paris: - Take the A40 and exit at Annecy. - Then take the N508 towards Annecy and then follow directions for Annecy/Albertville Le Lac. - In Avenue du Rhone turn left at the 3rd set of traffics light into Avenue Loverchy. - Finally, turn right.
