Location Located 89 km east of Miami Florida, 35 minutes via air from Florida and less than 2.5 hours from New York, Grand Bahama Island is one of the largest in the archipelago of 700 Bahamian Islands. The International Bazaar is about a 10-minute walk away and Port Lucaya Market Place is some 5 minutes on foot away. There are also links to the public transport network just outside the property. Grand Bahama International Airport is about 10 km from the establishment. Facilities The hotel has 419 guest rooms and there is 7 km of white sandy beach at guests' disposal. Guests of this beach hotel are welcomed in the lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe and a currency exchange. Guests can also treat themselves to a massage or spa treatment, or unwind in the sauna, hot tub or steam room. Further water sports available for additional fees include jet skiing, windsurfing, motor boating, banana boating and catamaran boating. Guests can also play minigolf or go bowling (both for a fee). The hotel also organises entertainment programmes for both adults and children. Meals The hotel serves a continental breakfast buffet each morning. Lunch and dinner are available a la carte and from a set menu. The evening meal is additionally available in buffet form.
