Located just 1. 5 kilometres outside the town of Nuwara Eliya, the property faces onto the Galway Forest reserve. Located adjacent to the Galway Forest, guests can trek through the forest, visit nearby tea plantations and waterfalls, as well golf at a nearby course. Rooms are a bit dated, but the scenery more than makes up for it. TO/0808. A modern, colonial-style building. Rooms are brightly decorated and feature satellite television, mini-bar, IDD telephone and individual heating. The main restaurant serves a combination of Eastern and Western cuisine, using fresh vegetables from their garden. 15 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 176 kms to the nearest airport (bandaranayake intl), 2 km to the nearest fair site (nuwaraeliya), 2 kms to city centre, 9 km to the nearest station (nanu oya).
