The hotel was renovated in 1992, but has maintained its 19th century charm and atmosphere. CW09/08 The hotel is housed in an old building dating back to the 19th century. But Lillehammer has much to offer beyond winter sports. It enjoys a beautiful location on the shore of Lake Mjosa, NorwayZs largest lake, and is rich in cultural and historical sites. Visit the Maihaugen Open Air Museum, and Hunderfossen Family Park. Enjoy a trip with Skibladner, a 100 year old steamboat. You can go shopping, or just walk around and feel the atmosphere. By plane: The Oslo Airport Gardermoen is about 150 km away. We recomend the train from the airport to Lillehammer. Train from Gardemoen Airport to Lillehammer 14 times/day. By train: The hotel is situated in the center of Lillehammer, only 100 meters from the train station. By bus: The bus station is just 100 meters from the hotel.
