The Days Inn Mt. Vernon is located in the Skagit Valley and is surrounded by the Cascade Mountains on the east and the Olympic Mountains on the west. We are located 50 miles from the Canadian border. The area is noted as the Home of the annual International Tulip Festival, which runs during the month of April. We are 30 miles from Mount Baker and just 15 miles from the Anacortes Ferry, which provides daily service to Canada and San Juan Island. There are many golf courses and 3 great Casinos within a 10 mile radius. Mall and outlet shopping within 2 miles. Many shops and restaurants with in walking distance. The on-premise Hacienda Restaurant has a bar and is opened for lunch and dinner. Banquet & meeting rooms are available, and a seasonal outdoor pool and a huge parking area for RV or truck parking. 30 miles to scenic Deception Pass Park with bridge across the Pacific Ocean to Whidbey Island. Room service is available from the hotel's restaruant, and there is an outdoor pool on site. Town and Country. -1 km to the nearest fair site (?), 3 kms to city centre, 60 kms to the nearest airport (bellingham international).
