The Blue Palace Resort & Spa is a luxurious 5-star superior resort offering elegant suites and bungalows with magnificent views of the island of Spinalonga, an award-wining cuisine and a state-of-the-art spa. Nestled on the famed coast of Elounda on the Island of Crete, the resort is superbly situated on a secluded beachfront offering spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. Featuring curved walkways with lawned gardens and private infinity pools, the resort is composed of small units of stylish and spacious bungalows and suites as well as four private villas. From its soaring arched lobby to its understated decor that is subtly influenced by the island's Greek, Arabic, Turkish and Venetian heritage, this resort is quintessentially Cretan - terracotta-coloured stone walls, mature palm and olive trees, and endless blues mirroring the waters of the Cretan Pelagos. Suitable for both an action-packed holiday and a relaxing getaway, the resort features private 200m pebble beach with wooden deck and expansive grass areas that lead to individual decks furnished with umbrellas, luxurious sun beds and plush beach towels. Guests can take advantage of an abundant offering of water sports at Water Sports Center including water skiing, snorkeling and wake boarding. Additionally there are two flood lit tennis courts, the Crete Golf Club and the state-of-the-art fitness centre fitted with a comprehensive range of cardiovascular and weight training equipment. Situated right by the beach and extending over 2,000sqm, the Elounda Spa and Thalassotherapy combines traditional ingredients with the state-of-the-art facilities to encourage a total sense of well-being. Catering for discerning palates, the resort features five restaurants and bars, each providing a distinctive dining experience. Among these, the LsoOrangerie serves gourmet Mediterranean cuisine in an elegant setting , while Asian delights can be sampled at Asia Blue. Measuring 40sqm, the bright and spacious Superior Sea View Private Pool Bungalows showcase private plunge pool and private veranda with daybed or sofa. These bungalows are also equipped with marble lined bathroom featuring premium bathroom amenities.
