Bechs Hotel has more than 40 modern double rooms all of which with bath- toilet- telephone- radio and colour TV. Indoors the hotels guests have free access to sauna- solarium- spa pool and billiard. The same goes for the large outdoor roof terrace. The hotel arranges mini holidays and golf holidays with a discount on the green fee on near-by golf courses. Conference facilities and parties for op to 300 persons. Right since the antiquity Denmarks most western main road has crossed the stream Skjern Aa between Tarm and Skjern. In the winter of 1513 King Hans and his large cortege were on their way from Ribe to Aalborg and right here in the water-logged moors at Tarm Kaer he fell off his horse. When West Jutlands trunk railway line was established in 1875 the little village Tarm became a large railway town with market town potential. In the street Storegade the town got its hotel - Bechs Hotel. Today the hotel has one of best restaurants in the area. Especially the many West Jutland fish dishes are popular. The hotel also has a cosy bar where you can often meet the innkeeper himself behind the counter. Here he will treat you to both drinks and a story or two. Right outside the door you will find the future National Park Skjern Aa and the North Sea. Thus the hotel is the perfect starting point for angling- lovely walks- bathing and bird watching. You will also find really fine golf courses in the nearest surroundings. In short - Bechs Hotel is close to the streams- the fjord- the sea and the moors.
