Made up a collection of private villas, each with its own private infinity pool, the Banyan Tree Samui overlooks rocky cliffs and sandy beaches along Lamai Bay in Koh Samui. The elevated villas occupy a private hill cove just a half hour's drive from Samui International Airport. Each villa in this luxury Koh Samui resort is designed with Thai elements using local materials. Large glass windows and sliding glass doors open onto the open decks and infinity pools. Banyan Tree Samui offers a variety of villas, each with different features, such as the Spa Pool Villa, which has has an en-suite spa treatment room. Guests at the Banyan Tree can start the day with an international breakfast with fresh seasonal ingredients while overlooking the beach and resort from indoor or outdoor seating at the Edge. Between meals or anytime, guests can enjoy drinks at the Pool Bar or an afternoon tea at the Lobby Bar. From lunch into the late evening, Sands serves up seafood and prime cuts of meat prepared char-grilled, wood fired or on the rotisserie beside the beach. When the sun goes down, Saffron offer Thai cuisine with a modern twist. For something unique, guests can book a special dinner for two in the Banyan Tree's private beachside villa. However, with 24 hour in-villa dining, guests don't actually have to go anywhere. Two fully-equipped meeting rooms with audio-visual equipment, LCD projectors, microphones, whiteboards, WiFi and broadband internet offer flexible seating options and can be remade for corporate lunches, board meetings and more. Additional business services, like shipping, photocopying and faxing can be taken care of in the hotel business center. The 200-person ballroom, fitted with audio-visual equipment, is also available for business or social events. Banyan Tree Samui suffers no shortage of relaxation options, with everything from a kids club to keep the little ones busy to the Rainforest—a spa hydrotherapy wellness facility.
