The Bahia Grande Apartments hotel is part of a large complex, which lies in the picturesque bay of the fishing village of Las Playitas. After a tasty meal, guests are able to enjoy a stroll along the beach promenade. The complex is located at the southwestern, calmer side of the bay, away from traffic and with direct access to the sandy beach. The airport is located around 35 km from the hotel. The Bahia Grande is situated half-way between the airport at Puerto del Rosario and Janda in the south of the island and is part of the Playitas Grand Resort Complex. There is direct access to the beach and the sea, making this ideal for families. The hotel includes the Bahia Grande restaurant and the pool bar. The spacious complex was opened in 2005 and offers various sleeping and entertainment opportunities in rural surroundings, away from everyday stresses. The hotel is ideal for families and includes a main building as well as neighbouring buildings. There are a total of 210 lodgings, including 96 apartments and 114 studios in the large grounds. The restaurant Bahia Grande is part of the complex, which also includes 4 speciality restaurants and buffet with front show cooking. The hotel offers self-catering for families and tourists. The foyer features a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a lift and a currency exchange desk. Additional facilities include a newspaper kiosk, a bar, a theatre and a games room. In addition, Internet access is included as well as a conference room and a kids club.
