The Hotel Milano is a comfortable hotel in Mendrisio, in the canton of Ticino, Switzerland, just 700 metres/0.44 miles from the Highway Milano-Lugano, opposite the main railway station and the post office. Mendrisio is known for its numerous elegant historical buildings. It is in fact called magnifico borgo which means the magnificent town. Mendrisio is worth to be visited especially for the Good Friday procession and the grape festival in late September. Mendrisio's surroundings are the main wine-growing areas in Canton Ticino! The rooms at Milano hotel are spacious and fully en-suite, include a mini bar and air-conditioning. Internet service is free of charge in the rooms and at the reception. Inside there is also an American bar, a gourmet restaurant and a pizzeria featuring a wood-fired oven for very delicious Pizzas. The hotel has a great swimming-pool open in Summer.
